Which tells me the perps do not represent the IRA ... although it will take the blame. George W. Bush (Sept 20, 2001): "You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists." Not every rocket launched from Gaza into Isreal was officially sanctioned by Hamas. I'm sure if the IRA wanted to distance themselves from these guys, they could do so fairly easily.

How do you stop any one person or persons from declaring their act of terrorism was conducted in the name of the IRA or any other group?
For all we know, the two gunmen were Islamic "radicals."
