Seriously, the United States does not belong in the various Native American territories. And Isreal does not belong in Palestine. Etc.
As long as Marxist terrorists who call themself Catholic use violence to advance their cause I will be pulling for the British in Northern Ireland. And I’m an Irish Catholic who used to work for a children’s charity in Belfast.
Most people in Northern Ireland wish to remain in the UK. As such, your opinion on the matter counts for jack s**t....

You know, I expect to find terrorist sympathisers in DUmmy world, but finding them here on FR has put a downer on my day.
How would you react if two US troops (just about to go to Afghanistan) had just been shot by terrorists in the area concerned and I posted something like:
“seriously, the US doesn’t belong in New Mexico” (or Hawaii or Alaska or wherever else the US might have started having soveriegnty over a few hundred years after we had soverignty in Northern Ireland.
Think about it. Then hold your head in shame.
Seriously though, you should ask the vast majority of people in Northern Ireland what they want rather than what you feel they should have.
