Sure there will be government cheese. We’ve borrowed (or printed) 2 Trillion so far for bailouts. Surely we can buy some cheese with it ;-)
For fresh cheese, or anything else, well, I wish the city folks good luck. For flat screen TVs, OTOH, the government scrip will likely suffice.
To be absolutely serious, there is a source of canned butter and cheese from NZ. I have tasted the butter in the past, but not the cheese. The butter was good. Recently, I went to the website campingsurvival.com and there was a notice that FEMA had purchased an entire container load.
I suspect that in return for government cheese, one will have to accept government internment.
