Here goes Rush on football. I can hear the radios clicking off all over the fruited plain.

Don't mind a little here and there, I love pro football. But he's getting all wound up on some arcane football subject. I thought Friday was the day the listeners can talk about what THEY want, not Rush.

Here comes a commercial, thank goodness. I'm glad Rush isn't into curling.

Speaking of Russian translation gaffes, when I took Russian in high school, we had an assignment to create signs in the Russian language for all our school offices.

My partner and I were assigned the Nurse’s office. We looked “nurse” up in the dictionary, and selected a word that sounded good. We hung the sign and had it up for a while, until our Russian teacher came by and told us that the Russian term we had selected translated into “Wet Nurse.”
