Yeah, I had no idea that many financial folks (and others) had been giving walking papers.
Before long, you'll be able to rent a nice high-rise condo for only $800 / month, but, a cheeseburger will cost one $10K - $4 for the burger and $9996 for NYC taxes.

I was downtown last week for the NYC Tea Party, and I saw several different blocks (on Church, Park Place and on Broadway near John) that had been entirely leveled for new construction.
How are they going to build if they can’t fill the space with tenants?
The city and state is taxing business into oblivion, and they’ll reap what they sow.
