Rush was talking about Enron. I’d like to remind everyone that ENRON and the Clinton administration were symbiotic.
There used to be a poster on FreeRepublic who was following ENRON activities before the crash. We were all aware of the deceptive practices at ENRON in addition to the government assisted spread of the ENRON fraud to the rest of the world via the Commerce Dept.
The ENRON activities in India played a large part in the downfall. Clinton and his commerce dept arranged for ENRON to build natural gas fired electric plants in India, convincing Indian officials that green technology was the way to go. The problem was that India has no natural gas but plenty of coal.
The administration changed in India and stopped construction on the ENRON plants and refused to pay for the work that was completed. Those plants are still standing uncompleted and ENRON went under.
