Michael Steele has just dipped his toe into the water and is already in over his head.
Steele has been the chairman of the Republican National Committee for only about a month, and already there is speculation that he may be on his way out.

I think it's sad that the same people on here that complain about the media being in the tank for BHO are the same ones that take their bait every time. This is one of the main reasons why Repubs are losing elections and why we can't get a consensus on issues because we stay divided. I'm not a big fan of Steele but he is the leader of the party and he does have the guts to stand up to the libs and Crats so I think it is time we stop the mudslinging and petty attacks on eachother, get united and get on the offensive against those that have the power and the will to do irreparable damage to this country. The longer we stay divided the more the msm, dnc, and every other lefty loon defines who we are and makes their ideology more mainstream. It's not too late but we need to act now.
There is no bait!
There are the bad behaviors, statements and actions, by Steele that he needs to be called out on.
You may think it has a negative effect when we take on our own for not being conservative, but it has the exact opposite effect, it scares the RINOs into line and when it does, it scares the Media and the Democrats, because they know how effective Reagan was.

Dude W started the divide and conqueror and Steele is the one one that went for chapter 2. He was just sittn round wit the homies talking about whitey and calling them Nazi's, ugly and so forth.
Steele has to go because he is too slow on his feet and broke the 11th Commandment.

There won’t be an 2010 election if we let Obama keep up his Marxist agenda.
You deal with the enemy at hand so there will be a 2010

We don’t have time for him to season. We wanted him in the job because we were lead to believe he could DO it, not because he needed to learn it. This is not a training ground, this is the real deal and it is SERIOUS.

I'm not a big fan of Steele but he is the leader of the party No he's not. He's the leader of the Republican National Committee, an orginization that is supposed to help Republicans (not RINOs) get elected. This puts him on the same footing as Howard Dean.
The leader of the party is the person who is president or the leading contender for president - in other words it's Sarah Palin.

I joined the Libertarian Party the same time you left the Republican Party. And it wasn’t just because of Steele. Eric Cantor has had equal gaffes.

This is not a training ground, this is the real deal and it is SERIOUS. I understand. However, this is the hand we have and that is that. Yes it is serious. Yes the nation is in dire straits. And M. Steele is a good, decent, and intelligent man. He will be fine. We, the base, by our actions will keep the pubbies in line as best they can be. We are not fighting the right battles at present. It is time to stop fighting each other and our leaders. Focus you anger on the Dims and their minions. Use your influence and ideas to shape our party. But fight the liberals. Because as you point out, this is serious and time is short. We do not have time to build another party.

Opposing Steele for his liberal stances om social issues and his general incompetence is not “falling for divide and conquer”.
To: TomGuy
The “big tent” junk only ever means going hard left on social issues.
