Did you see this?
Did Palin's looks hurt?
A new article in the Journal of Experimental psychology makes the case that Sarah Palin's looks -- and the focus on them -- hurt her and John McCain in November's election.
She is such a worry about Palin in 2012 that they are still working hard to destroy her.

My best experienc in England was sitting on a park bench in London talking to a complete stranger who spoke with passion about how he loved the United States. The old guy was talking more to himself, than to me, but after my other travels, it stood out as a wonderfully uplifting experience.
He pointed out som many things we had done with Britain to make the world a better place. This was in the late 1970’s though.

Rush is absolutely right to take the kudos for the Republicans being able to speak Obama’s name. He stood and took the arrows and the heavy hits while they were squeaking and wetting their pants.

Thanks, RasterMaster. You say it is the year of the Ox. Another thought it was the year of the jackass. Trying to find some meaning here...

Will we see the day when Obama be thrown under the bus and VP Joe Bidden become a “compromise President” by the powers that be?

My favorite was when Joe and I had lunch in a pub (it’s an ale thing), with a very charming retired barrister and his wife. They were a sweet older couple who enjoyed discussing the US and the law courts with us.
My two favortie places in London: British Museum, Tower of London, and Westminster Abby. Oh and St. Pauls! Gosh, think I went over my limit...

The V&A is a treat. Wonderful museum. I'd also recommend the city of Bath, not just for the
Roman Baths and the Pump Room, but the Fashion Museum and architecture like the Royal Crescent.
