Yes, eventually Germany conquered Yugoslavia, but not before the Serbs put up such a fierce resistance that it held Hitler back from invading Russia when he wanted to, delaying Operation Barbarossa which eventually cost Hitler the war.

For anyone who actually wishes to stick to the original subject, Francesco Gil White, wrote an interesting article for the American Thinker a couple of years ago, on how the anti-Israel forces on university campuses were also the biggest anti-Serb forces on campus.
