I don’t know if she knows or not....but you have a good idea.

Watch her expressions while she talks. Spanish is a very expressive language in tone and facial expression.

A small grin and shake of your head every now and then, properly done, can imply understanding.

I had a whole shop-full of Spanish speaking men believing I understood every word - no matter my denial. But they knew I had taken "classes" prior to my employment.

Saying good morning (buenos diaz), or asking what time it is (que hora es) every now and then, with the right accent, then denying further knowledge..really works!

Note: I may have improper spanish spelling! I admit ignorance.

Just this morning I was wondering about the SS tax. All the articles one reads talk about the taxes already announced. But NONE of them ever mentioned the “promised” raising of the ceiling on FICA taxes.

Now Rush says Obama is rolling that one out today.
