“The “birth certificate” is a red herring...”

Not all cover-ups are created equal. However, just because a President sounds honest, finger-wag and all, it does not mean his words are true. When he's hiring lawyers to prevent the truth from coming out, it's quite telling he's hiding the facts for a reason. Here's a classic example:

Clinton uttered the quote during a January 26, 1998, White House press conference when allegations were running high regarding an alleged sexual relationship between himself and Monica Lewinsky, a White House intern. At the conclusion of the press conference, Clinton said:^[1]

"Now, I have to go back to work on my State of the Union speech, and I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false, and I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you."

Like most of us here on FR 10 years ago, we know ol' Slick Willie was trying to pull the wool over our eyes then. No need for an investigation per se, but in the end, someone always has the proof necessary, be it a TRUE "Certificate of Live Birth" in BHO's case, or a Blue Dress in Bill's situation.

If you wish to drink the coolaid with the rest of the sheep who elected him, more power to ya. For myself and a lot of others here, we'll reserve judgment, push to uncover the facts BHO is so vigorously hiding, and try our damnedest NOT to say, "Told you so," when the truth comes out.

Exactly, if bo or his lawyers thought that there was any way that they could release any of the files that are being sought by Berg et al; and then spin them in bo’s favor, then THEY WOULD RELEASE ALL THE FILES: BC, SCHOOL RECORDS, TRAVEL RECORDS ETC.

First rule of Political Damage Control is if there is bad information on a Politician the Politicians must put said bad information out himself to get control of the story.

Is it not obvious that bo knows that if he releases any of said files, then he gets removed from office.

There is no way out for bo now. Who’s gonna pardon him now?

BO has obviously decided to pursue a “Scortch the Earth” Strategy.

Great Post BP. We will have the facts,and its innterestingthat the closer we get, the more "Trolls" appear to argue against the Birther Movement.

Blue Dress/COLB. Same thing, only the US Constitution did not give us a right to see the blue dress as does Article II , section 1. Thank goodness that back then we had a functioning FBI, rather than the newly weird Secret Service active during the last election cycle, and Homeland Security which some say has a new law interpretation against inciting insurrection ( against the president).
