All he had to do is produce the birth certificate and the “birthers” will go away. Why hasn’t it been produced?
The “birth certificate” is a red herring; he probably has a forged long form birth certificate (38 entries for information, including hospital and attending physician) all ready to go.
The real issue — natural born Citizen. Both parents must be U.S. citizens at the time of baby’s birth AND baby must be born on U.S. soil for their child to be a natural born citizen. Parents can be naturalized, native born, or natural born, but they must be U.S. citizens for their child to be eligible to become President of the U.S.A.
President Obama’s father, a British citizen, registered his son as a British citizen shortly after birth. Hence, Obama II is not a natural born citizen. If (and I use that word hesitently) he was born in Hawaii, he can claim to be a “native born” citizen but ineligible to run for President.
FYI — records from Occidental recently came to light that prove a student from Indonesia named Barry Soetoro accepted financial aid as a foreign student.
When living in Indonesia with his mom and stepdad, Obama was registered at a school as Barry Soetoro, Indonesian citizen and Muslim.
