Just like Rush said NOT to do.
He says that no one in the GOP wants Hussein to fail.
Rush has thrown the gauntlet down and they took the bait.
This is all out war for the Republic!!!
Rush has called every freedom loving American out to get off thier butts and go to work!!!
We must work together to bring the Republic back into balance.
Good Work Rush
His remarks about Rush occur at about the 7:48 second mark. It’s a response to George’s question/statement to Cantor “so the republican’s approach is not the Rush’s Limbaugh approach that he wants the president to fail.” Cantor’s response is, something to the effect, “No...absolutely not...we don’t want anything to fail...we have such challenges right now...” yada...yada...yada.

Most Republicans are more afraid of the MSM/DNC, than Rush.
And rightfully so, Conservatives have ZERO political power.
The current Republican Party is led by a bunch of pansies. They have no core and are terrified of saying anything negative about the Messiah, Lord Barry Hussein Soetoro Obama. I’ll say it: he’s a Stalinist who wants to create a Union of American Socialist Republics. Rush says it too, and God Bless Him for it. Rush is one of the few who are willing to hit the Messiah hard, and we are lucky to have him. If our “leaders” in the GOP had 5% of Rush’s guts and brains we wouldn’t be in this mess.
The Republican Party is a Zombie.
Addition... except Cantor saying “we don’t want the President or America to fail”. Cantor is squishy, but the headline implies that he expressedly repudiates Rush. I didn’t hear that.
He really didn’t repudiate him. More of Steffy just wanting to talk about republican back biting. As for the rest of what Cantor said, let me paraphrase:
bla bla bla bla bla, every one hopes the president succeeds. Bla bla bla.
Agree!!!
The conservatives like you and me and others here and elsewhere must take control of the Republican Party.
As usual, it is the people who have to set things right again.
Too many party insiders do not believe that politics is an audience participation act. The role of the little people is limited to making campaign contributions and voting as told.
I’m about two-thirds of the way through and I don’t see a repudiation yet, Cantor was being political in the way he spoke, but he didn’t repudiate Limbaugh.
Yep, heard it. Typical, weasel response. It’s time to leave this party.
They needed someone to replace Kristol, Perle and the rest of the discredited worthless punkneos............so loser Cantor surfaced.
The punkneos are flacking this loser like crazy.
Cantor is just another loser punkneo who should be relegated to the dustbin of history....he’s a worthless loser.
If not, then living in Costa Rica would be a better option.
Until Obama requires US exit visas.
The US diaspora is about to begin? The stock market already has it ongoing.
ANyone with even a slim ounce of sense can see the Rush Limbaugh argument for the truth that it is.
Self evident.
I watched this whole thing, and I thought Cantor’s answer was quite fair. Elected leaders of the House can’t get caught saying they want this guy to fail. Most of Cantor’s comments were good. He should be stronger on how bad the Obama plan is for America. Attack the plans, not the man.
As someone else said here, the poll shown (ABC news), showing that 61% think Obama is working with the other side is incredible. We are dealing with pure ignorance out there right now. We need some strong leaders asap to start impacting public opinion. Cantor and the House leadership is operating well in Washington right now, but someone needs to get into a position to start speaking out to the people and stop this tide of public opinion. It has to be someone big time, too. To get through this media blockade is going to be a real challenge, and it will take a big personality to do it.
It came up towards the end- he said he doesnt share the idea that he wants the potus to fail, contrary to what Rush said.
this is strike two for EC.
Strike one was when he blew his opportunity to speak on camera during the very first bailout, by ranting and waving a piece of paper around, rather than focusing on
the merits of the issue.
He’s missed the boat again.
At the very end, Clintons butt-boy tries to set up a repudiation of Rush. All Cantor said was that he didn’t think anybody wishes this President to fail.
