"entertainment" tv is full of it of course. but it's nice & easy to spot when they dress it up as "news"

I happened to see him say it and it was definitely a joke done tongue in cheek. He was during a lead in to a piece that was about how infidelity had fallen off since the recession had begun. A sort of “even the cheaters are having a hard time of it” story.
What was it Clint E. recently said about a sense of humor? Yes I know he was referring to racial humor, but it could also be attributed to something like this. As I remember it, we sure got a lot of laugh mileage out of Elliot Spitzer’s predicament. I think we need to occasionally lighten up a little and take things in the spirit in which they are meant. And BTW, I am NOT condoning cheating, I’ve been married 30 years.
