AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
Remember LindaBird Johnson and what the Hollywood makeup men did for her before the Academy Awards way back?

They are usually so skinny they look like anemic 11 year old boys

And, the camera supposedly makes you look 10 lbs heavier! Any pretty highschool girl in any town looks better than them.
I figure that Carl Cameron is gay and looks at conservatives through a homosexual prism. McCain was ok with him because he opposed the anti-gay marriage amendment. Bush and Palin support the ban on gay marriage.
Obama gets a pass because no one believes that he meant it when he said that he opposed gay marriage.
He is completely free of any of those charges....and he didn’t own a firearm before that and I doubt he does today. He’s said a few times he doesn’t own one. I guess you don’t know him very well....
Marta was a user....’for better or worse’ wasn’t her thing. The witch.
I don’t think he cooks his own meals.....he never mentioned that....why do continually try to bring him down?
2009 will be $500 : $12.50 X 40 weeks (Apr-Dec) = $500.00
2010 will be $400 : $7.70 X 52 = $400.40
Well shame on those Americans who complain about any man or woman in uniform...there’s a huge price for liberty felt in the broken hearts of those family members and friends’s who sacrificed for it!
????????? (Don't understand the snippiness.)
No, I have never been a private guest of the man.
However, I have been a daily listener since the 1st Gulf War days. So, I can only go on what I have heard him say, and what the reports were at the time of the agreement he made to get those ridiculous charges dropped against him.
1)I have never heard him say diddly squat about him owning firearms. And to put it bluntly, it ain't none of our business.
2) I know that when he made his agreement in order to get those charges dropped, part of the announced agreement was that he would give up his right to own a firearm. Now a public announcement about that part of the agreement, had me going “WTH?” at the time. Announcing that seemed like unnecessary twaddle by that Florida prosecutor. “Ooooh! I'm protecting the citizens of Florida against this dangerous criminal by keeping him from owning a firearm.”
Now, I don't know how the law works in such matters, especially Florida law. I know that the terms of his agreement were that if he promised to be a good boy for 18 months, and pass his drug tests, the charges against him would be dropped. How that agreement would affect his gun ownership, I have no idea. Did he regain those rights after 18 months? I don't know, and except for the fact that I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Rush was hardly a menace to society. Again, his gun ownership is his business; not mine. (I know that if was in his shoes, I would be demanding the return of that right, especially given who who Rush is. Whether he has done so or if he let it go, again it isn't my business.)
Now, Fawn, why you wanted to be snippy with me, I don't understand. All I can tell you is that I had no agenda, or ulterior motive behind my post. My intent was exactly what it was: a factual mentioning about Rush and his gun rights.
Have a good day!
(Sorry, but I left a part out the first time.)
