What's surprising is that some of the comments appear to be from pro-Sarah Palin conservatives. They're a likely preview of what a Jindal primary faceoff with Palin or another Christian conservative might look like, with both vying for conservative Christian support.

I haven’t never heard any conservative say Jindal is a closet Muslim. I have only seen a couple question his natural born status, though not a large percentage. That rumor is easily debunked.
They are definitely trying to divide conservatives. Yes, Palin is my favorite, but Jindal is a good man who I like and respect. I can like both of them at the same time. The Republican primaries could be tricky because we’ll all have to be careful not to splinter our votes so much that someone like Crist or Pawlenty gets the nomination. I can see Huckabee being a spoiler again as well. So much can happen before the primaries that we can’t possibly anticipate right now.

Those who described themselves as "Non evangelical protestants" and Mormons voted for McCain/Palin in higher margins than any other group.
