OK, perfectly obvious though possibly stupid question...

How did you get a venue and permit?

In Houston I’m being told it is not possible to get a permit for a venue without posting at least a $2000 fee or more.

I’m sure all the libs do this all the time.

Because it’s all on public land, public parking lot is across the street, and there’s no need for public restrooms, no security...they won’t even close the street, no parade, etc.

Ha! I so new at this I squeak!

The info I got about a permit is that as long as we are in the city limits and plan a peaceful assembly, we don't need a permit, just notification.

Our area may fall under the jurisdiction of the Harbor Police so the main organizer has a call in but isn't anticipating any problems.
