If you think the militay would not fire on Americans apparently you have forgotten Detroit and the 82nd, the racial unrest in the South. Troops on schoolhouse steps. MLK’s death, there were troops armed and primed to move into Washington DC with orders to fire on anyone who was firing a weapon,but luckily weren’t needed.
So don’t think the military would be 100% behind you.

We would have the vast majority of x-military with us, I just wish they would have access to the weaponry...

I look at 10s of thousands of combat vets who are walking the streets today. I suspect they may have something to say, in time.

Many posters seem to have forgotten that this country has gone through several periods of civil unrest. Burning cities and rioters in the streets are not new.
