Something to consider: When panic talk about Year 2000 was in the air, one sheriff in Iowa proposed calling up all CCW holders in his county and deputizing them. AFAIK, it never went anywhere but it got a few headlines. Might even have been an Urban Legend.
So . . . the Governor, or some other authority calls out the militia (unorganzied) to help in quelling unrest. How many are willing to go to God Knows Where and leave their wives and children alone when that call comes?
It gives you a better idea of what the men in the Revolution had to deal with.
Great point. How much are we Americans who are loyal to the Constitution willing to sacrifice to save our nation and protect our families?
