“What would happen if the productive – the Atlases of this country – were to shut down for a week in a strike as a protest against the growing Socialism of this country?”

We could only hope business people were finally stepping away from kissing-*ss (political correctness) to fighting those that would literally enslave them.

Wake up, business people! It’s time to fight! It’s time for the people that REALLY move the world to stand up against this tyranny.

We were not born to be mules for these socialist vampires!

They have no right, except that which they bestow upon themselves at the end of a gun, to shackle us with paying for their hard-left agenda.

A FREE MAN WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS BLATANT ASSAULT ON HIS LIBERTY!

IT’S TIME TO FIGHT AMERICANS!

These beginnings of reparations are for blacks to the same percentage that ACORN is made up of blacks.

Since “abort” is a synonym for “kill,” the graphic as it stands is readily subject to misinterpretation.

Misinterpreted like the OK cop here?: Link

OK, thanks! I knew that might be bordering on “tin-foil”! LOL I’m still curious about this new program, though...
[I had viewed it once before my first post, then posted a blog about it. A short while later I went back to the site to show my eldest daughter the piece, and it was the same ad. Then I checked my blog, went back again and showed it to my hubby when he woke up. And, I just went back to view it again so I could transcribe a quote from it, and those 3 separate times I viewed it before the last, the ads were for the “NEWBOs” series... :-) ]

However, if there was no ground swell after nearly $3 trillion of taxpayer funds were handed over to the very people whose greed (with government cooperation and greed) triggered the current crises, why in the world would you think that $78 billion in housing subsidies would trigger a ground swell?

It's a cumulative effect. TARP is not popular. The stimulus is not particularly popular. Bailing out automakers? Bailing out people who bought $500 thousand dollar homes. I think bailing out homeowners when others have mortgages to pay will be the straw the breaks the camel's back. Paticularly, when in a few months it will be readily apparent that none of this is going to work, and Obama is in WAY over his head.

These are the reasons I think Drudge is an ignorant sensationalist, he just doesn’t see the real numbers and situation that currently exists. He hears something on CNBC that is music to all of our ears and thinks this is significant when it has about as much consequence as a funny cartoon when it comes to the real world.

The push back is starting. If you don't want to be part of it, want to deny it....go ahead.

Of course not! I’d say many if not most of us have gotten that drift for awhile now!!! Enough already!

And, now it is an ad for a CNBC special on “American Greed”.

Oh, barf! That's gotta be due to a bunch of lefties back in the CNBC NJ studios...

“How about MILLIONS of people who ACTUALLY PAY THERE MORTGAGE? You know, the poor saps that the 0bamunists are RAPING!

Hey, jackmercer, you are just playing dumb, right?

That, or you really understimate the intelligence of the American people on these matters.

Or you are Demwit troll—which is it?

Way to go traders, keep it up! Fight these parasitical tyrants!

We’re behind you!”

See my post in 231.

And regarding my status, I am a Republican but I am a pragmatic Republican. I don’t want to see reactionary outrage from current Republicans lead to a complete and total socialist take over like that of 1934.

I made a post in 2006 predicting our current political situation. I attempted to bring certain economic numbers and things like inequality to the forefront in an effort to stave off a socialist landslide and was lambasted for it and all those like me that did this in an effort to reform the Party were lambasted.

The result were as we predicted, a 1932 election of a socialist majority. Now I am trying to stop a 1934 by introducting pragmatism into the debate. So much of this sensational outrage about revolts, etc are leading Republicans down the road to being seen as obstructionist crazy people that are irrelevant. We have to play the political game like the Dems are, not the ideology game. About 30% of the voting public responds to sound ideology, the remaining 70% have to be cajoled with cunning just like the Dems are dong now. Yes, it sucks and it’s dirty but that is politics and as is evident today, elections have consequences, SERIOUS consequences.

We ignore these lessons at our own peril.

You're making MY point. I made it clear that I wasn't misinterpreting it, but that someone in law enforcement might do so, because it is so ambiguous.

I’ve e-mailed CNBC to compliment them and ask them to do more of this kind of reporting. They need to hear from us.

Yes! I sent two e-mails... one under "compliment" and another to Squawk Box.

Fanni and Freddie weren’t enough of a catastrophe. There was also a money market run in Sept 2008. Something like 550 billion in 2 hours. It hurt us. It was intentional.
