What would be fair is if ACORN were placed on the list of subversive communist front groups.

There is nothing to stop this march of control by Obozo.

We all know how intolerant the left is of any ideas other than their own -- just look how any conservative speaker is treated by the left when they speak at any college campus around the country today. Then I suppose under the Fairness Doctrine we could sue the venues (universities, etc.) for not complying with the law.

Why doesn’t ‘fairness’ include the conservative point of view in the newspapers?

"The plan is for the boards to control the content of stations with their ability to make licensing renewal recommendations to the FCC."So basically exactly what they did to the banking industry to extort the commitments to bad loans to people that couldn't dream of repaying the loans. Hey! If it works, don't fix it.

What would be fair is if ACORN were placed on the list of subversive communist front groups. Subversive implies they want to overthrow the government to put in a communist one. That is so 2008. Now they are a loyalist* communist front group fighting to maintain the current government.
*Loyal to the unholy trinity of Obama, Pelosi and Reid; not to the people or the Constitution.

I had a fella at work try to tell me that it would work both ways and liberals would have to include conservative point of views in their rags. I walked away laughing. That was fuuny.

Thanks for the post, 2am!

The framework for the attempt by Democrats to silence political opposition is already in place in what the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) calls localism, a scheme set up in the form of local community boards that will decide whether or not your local broadcast station is meeting the standards required to review and renew their broadcast licenses every two to four years. This might be a hill we have to fight on. If they push localism, we need to take over those boards or at least get enough people on them to make them ineffective.

We had ACORN voter fraud in Oklahoma City and probably other places since they are also in Tulsa so if we had it here, can you imagine how bad it was elsewhere?
The people heading this organization in all the states should be in prison IMHO for stealing US elections with their fraud.

Because hardly anyone actually reads newspapers anymore. We clip coupons and read the funnies. There is also an assault on the Internet in the works.

Is there a public record of WHO is in ACORN? Who runs it, who contributes to it, and who works for it?

You know they don’t think that way.
They only failed because the system was unfair. Therefore the outcomes must be equalized so that conservatives don’t “win” all the time in this venue.
