NEW YORK (CNN) -- The founder of an Islamic television station in upstate New York aimed at countering Muslim stereotypes has confessed to beheading his wife, authorities said.

This story would probably have garnered more press coverage if it happened somewhere other than where it did. Orchard Park, Lackawanna and West Seneca, NY are where a very large population of these ROP muslims have settled. So as not to offend their sensibilities they get good treatment by the press.

The station's staff is "deeply shocked and saddened by the murder of Aasiya Hassan and the subsequent arrest of Muzzammil Hassan," a statement from Bridges TV said.... "Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the families of the victim," the statement said.

The families of the victim would include, of course, the murderer. Condolences and prayers going out to the murderer. And they are deeply shocked and saddened by the ... arrest of Muzzammil Hassan. Nice.
