Pennsylvania should wise up in a couple years and choose Santorum in the primary as well as the general. B-bye Arlen.

“I'd rather have the Dem win then Specter”

Just out of curiosity... how did you feel in the presidential election?

YOU know there are alot of FREE REPUBLIC posters that live in Pennsylvania !!!!! and I for one don't really appreciate being called an “a$$clown”

I believe we all know that Politics is a game, and our Congress is a Private Club, and it is very hard to remove Professional Politician's who have alot of money and buy their position's, Murtha is an example.........

We live in a very sad time in history, personally I've never felt so defeated..........

run someone big like Toomey

Especially now that his two biggest enemies, Bush and Santorum, are no longer around to sabotage his campaign.

I will contribute towards ANY Republican who runs against this fraud. I will ALSO contribute towards any DEMCOART who runs against him if he is renominated. Ditto for Snowe and Collins.

Sometimes a VERY STRONG laxative is needed to clear out fecal material.

I hope it not only costs him—I hope it demolishes him. Then again, his pork fattened constituents have voted for this moron over and over and over again.

Specter finally jumped the shark. Now all you Toomeyites or whatever you call yourselves is the time to make your move to remove him. Take him out in his upcoming primary, or make sure he knows he’s going to lose and let him retire.

Don’t kid yourself about Specter and PA, Specter in spite of this will still be a strong runner in a general election, but he’ll be trounced after this move in a primary.

You take out people in your own party primaries, not generals. Specter jumped the shark in terms of his primary if a solid challenger shows up, but if one doesn’t he’ll still win a general election.

Can’t do that, PA doesn’t have open primaries. Specter has jumped the shark if a solid R challenges him in the primaries. If none does, then he will win a general election again.

I wish the election were tomorrow. I hate this ****** and the two witches from Maine.

This spending bill will probably fail. The three of them are tied to it. When they are up for re-election, all it will take is a couple of very effective ads to be rid of them once and for all.

Trouble is, he has 2 more years to help vote in all the freedom destroying bills the Dems are pushing through. They are lining up all their pet liberal/communist projects to get them passed before 2010. I think even they know that by that time, most of America will be pleading for the Republicans to get back in power.

PA people have always believed in him though he did lost one or two elections years ago. They think he is “watching over” them.

Well I hope we can say goodbye to this traitor, but we will all be paying for his retirement plan for the rest of his life and members of the family.

If Obama wants economic stimulus cut off all the benefits that Congress gets and see how many true Americans we have run for office.

BTW, anyone have statistics on how much we pay these idiots to represent their own interests? I would think it's millions every year.

I'd say it was small town PA that got PORK from Murtha that got the mentally disabled reelected.

I could not believe it!
