Despite the election of President Obama, Bill Maher is still not happy with his native land, due to the lack of belief in evolution. He voiced his disapproval on Thursday evening’s Larry King Live: “I read the other day, I think only four in 10 Americans believe in evolution. It’s still not a very bright country, Larry.” He later compared Sarah Palin to former American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar: “She’s like a reality show contestant who just lost, and they’re always like, you know, you haven’t heard the end of me. I’m not going. Yes, you are, Sanjaya. Good bye, bye-bye.”
Maher’s criticism of his fellow citizens came three minutes into the 9 pm Eastern hour CNN program. King had asked him about the president’s first weeks in office and the proposed economic stimulus package. Despite the Obama administration’s various problems, Maher defended the president as “learning” and that “he certainly is the smartest guy we’ve had there that I can remember.”

Maher is the same scumbag who said on his own program “Politically Incorrect” that pre-emptive war against terror is wrong and that IF terrorists nuke an American city, THEN we should respond. I heard it with my own ears. Maher is dead to me. What a pantload.

Obviously Maher hasn’t made a good argument for the theory of evolution. Maybe he should push for a fairness doctrine against people who don’t buy into his faith, it’s the liberal way. All of the hard sciences, including biology, can be taught without any opinion, one way or the other, about origins. The time spent pushing evolution in the public schools would be better spent teaching kids chemistry or the parts of a cell. Is Maher smart enough to understand what I’m saying? Probably not. It offends his faith.
He just ain’t got that technique thingie down yet....

Bill Maher judging the intelligence of others is never not going to be funny.
Bill, face it. Sarah Palin is not going away. You are going to be seeing her run for president at some point. Maybe even against The Won. And particularly if it’s against The Won, “Sarah Palin is stupid” might not be the best argument for you guys to make. Because The Won, Columbia and Harvard Law degrees aside, is not exactly looking Mensa-ready himself.
