The new Vogue cover star is turning her favourite designers into stars - much to the disapproval of fashion's old guard
Although Michelle Obama has admitted - shockingly, considering the context - that she is less interested in clothes than politics and children in her upcoming interview in Vogue, after less than a month in the White House she is already proving to wield greater influence over the fashion world than the industry has known in years.

OPULENT curtains, made by one of Scotland’s leading textile companies, will grace the White House, it was revealed yesterday.
The order has been commissioned by Michael Smith, a Los Angeles-based designer brought in by the first lady, Michelle Obama, to refurbish the private family apartments in the east wing of the building.
And the specially made fabric, a mixture of the finest wool and silk, has already been shipped to America by MacNaughton Holdings, a Perth-based company established in 1783. The fabric was made at the company’s main textile mill in Keith in Moray.

I grew up with a youthful lust for women like Sophia Loren,Liz Taylor and Joey Heatherton.Attractive women then were ALL woman,no athletic adolescent near-boyish “please feed me” heroin-chic figures that are so popular now.
The First Lady has a good,interesting face and a real woman’s shape.
IMO,Mrs.Obama is the most physically attractive First Lady since Jackie although Mrs.Kennedy could have used a few cheesburgers herself.
Too bad,like her mendacious and arrogant spouse,she’s just another obtuse,recalcitrant and harmful-to-America extreme Leftist.
