Not at all. I HATE RATS and would crush them like insects given half a chance. HOWEVER, when you are in a completely defenseless position, overt threats are foolish and serve to justify the enemies actions.
But, we are not in a completely defensless position. Rush is reminding us that we must have the WILL to fight, not roll over like yellow dogs.

Gubment now makes up 40% of the American economy, and with Porkulus, that is sure to rise significantly.
Democrats are BY FAR, the largest recipients of that largess, and this just buys them MORE POWER.
What we are witnessing now HAS happened before, namely in mid-30’s Germany. I hope it doesn’t end the same way....

That would be a rational response but the RATS have proven they are NOT rational. They will do what they always do, more of the same thing that created the problem.
It appears to be too late to fix the current system. I’m afraid it will have to collapse and be re-started.

Rush is not so much talking about the weak Pubbies in office now, he is talking about the future. The future is a tsunami of grassroots growth, of anonymous whistle blowing at every level, an activist conservative base that will do their own journalism locally and when the national dog and pony media shows come to town, covering that to. To get conservative students to record radical professor lectures. To infiltrate local liberal political groups on and off campus on to town, county, and state levels. Infiltrate ACORN. Infiltrate the unions. Infiltrate local liberal campaigns. Infiltrate every level of government, media, entertainment, global warming activists, welfare activists, etc.. Infiltrate, infiltrate, infiltrate.
Rush is essentially talking about a blow back effect. While Rush is talking about using the new, super-sized government as a weapon when Pubbies get power back, the real effort needs to empower conservatives at a grassroots level but primarily through individual efforts.

On principle, I don’t have a problem with companies donating money to candidates or lobbying for reps that represent their industry interests. What I do have a problem with is them using tax dollars from TARP to do it.
Most of the Wall Street dudes gave to democrats...if it is found out that they gave some of the TARP money to them as well...there will be a huge fall-out.

I've heard Rush say than many times. But it is interesting that Daschle et al are willing to give up millions/yr to take a Cabinet position. MMMmmmmm. Very interesting.

Even IF the Repub party had the Will to fight (they don’t), they do not have the means. And unfortunately, rolling over like a yellow dog is what most Repubs do best.

To my mind there are 3 kinds of conservatives:
1) the Rush Limbaugh types (I am one) who rationally believe in fighting is fire with fire and in terms of the movie The Untouchables ‘he wounds one of your guys, you send one of his guys to the morgue and ‘you don’t bring a knife to a gun fight’
2)the ‘turn the other cheek’ evangelical or Christian who gives all his focus to his faith in God but in so doing is not willing to free up time and energy to pursue politics passionately or take Obama seriously or feel it is below his or her dignity to want to take Obama down.
3)those who want to begin civil disobedience, riots or violent revolution-lunatic fringe.
Unfortunately most conservatives are category 2 and the ones who get the MSM coverage are #3.
Our job as # 1 conservatives is to convert #2 conservatives to our way of thinking. #3 conservatives are probably a lost cause.
