Fellow Freepers, you just missed a great show. Democrat Maxine Waters just had a psychotic break during the House grilling of top bank CEOs regarding what happened to the $ 350B they got but somehow never made it to customers.
Maxine -- never the calmest of souls -- got on an incomprehensible tear and, her voice rising and becoming a low-level screech, began accusing the CEOs assembled of piracy, lying, and gross abuse of bank customers. She lit into a litany of every Leftist Lunatic grudge against capitalism in general and banks in particular. Wild-eyed and shaking, she stopped actually asking these poor guys questions and simply yelled accusations at them, telling them to "raise your hands" if they pled guilty. No one could get a word in edgewise. Finally, as Maxine reached the level of Howard Dean screaming at his audience, the chair interrupted and tried to get her to stop self-destructing on TV. Maxine ignored him and kept her screechfest going. Finally, the chair simply stopped her, telling her that she needed to submit her "questions" to the CEOs after the hearing ended. Moment of stunned silence. Then the grilling continued by another, saner Dem.
I hope this makes Youtube. Waters is a raving hatemonger and we need to make sure everyone sees her in action.
Many of her constitutents are self-employed drug dealers. Some work for large international corporations.

Well Maxine is part of the problem—her outrage is for show. I’m outraged like you, but I don’t know what to do about it. I have a bad feeling that things are going to get really ugly in this country. Then our wonderful Dem controlled government can really swoop in and take total control.

No her outrage is real. These Dems have always hated banks and the capitalist rich with an intense passion.
That's why they strong-armed them into making terrible loans that could never be repaid. They are the ones largely responsible for the mess we are in.

The citigroup president was answering her question but she did not want the answer because he was contradicting her set up. (seems citigroup has a program that does NOT require two months delinquincy to modify)
Waters was clearly unprepared for an answer that was what the ostensivly wanted from the banks.
If the CEO’s had said “we have forgiven all loans and giving race reparations to all black people for the heck of it”, waters would have still ripped on her mental breakdown.

This woman is dumb as a bag of cut hair. She couldn’t hold a job in the private sector. Sadly, this can be said for much of our “leaders.”
Just goes to show that there is a difference between the State of Fruits&Nuts (aka California) and the Peach State (aka Georgia). Maxine is still there but Cynthia McKinney, FORMER Congress-critter from Atlanta is not. I’d be hard put to choose between these two for the booby prize but thank God one is gone. The regret is that there is always someone in the bullpen warming up!
