50% of Americans clearly want socialism, having bought hook, line and sinker into Barack Obamas version of the Karl Marx system of from each according to his ability; to each according to his need.
But equally clear is the fact that the other 50% of Americans dont want socialism, still preferring the Founders notion of freedom, liberty and self-governance.
For decades now, the 50% who still love freedom have been picking up the tab for the 50% only interested in free access to other peoples stuff. Its easy to want socialism if youre not the one who has to pay for it.
Well, if you are hell bent on reducing America to third world status with your insane visions of dancing sugarplums in some utopian society where your neighbor has no rights and you have no responsibilities, then the least you can do is pay for it yourself!
The 50% of Americans who voted against your empty suit and his anti-American Marxist agenda have been paying 97.01% of all federal taxes collected up until now. The 50% of you, who prefer Obamas socialism, have only had to pay 2.99% of all federal taxes to date. Thats about to change
If you want socialism, fine. But YOU pay for it!

I'd LOVE to see this take root immediately, across the nation!
A MUST READ (and watch the video)....
Ask the next liberal you meet -
how much extra are you paying on your taxes this year?
I left a socialist Australia to come to the REPUBLIC of the USA. An anti - socialist country.
WHAT HAPPENED!!!!
This guy doesn't quite grasp what socialism is.
Other people get the goodies, and WE pay for it!
They will pay for it, all right, they just don't know it yet. They think it will be just like it is now, but with more freebies, but it doesn't work like that.
Just ask the "lower classes" in Soviet Russia, East Germany, and present-day Cuba.
Too many brought their socialist notions with them to America and now they are voting and promoting those old ideas from home, here in the USA.
But unlike their home country, at some point, those who pay will decide to stop paying in America. We threw tea in the Boston Harbor last time. This time, we will simply refuse to pay the taxes...
The national economy will recover in a heartbeat. It’s the fed and all living on the public teet that will suffer.
Ya think he doesn’t get it?
I think you don’t get it... Maybe you should read the entire column and watch the video of Reid...
Remember that Boston Tea Party thing....?
EXACTLY!
The only unanswered question is...
Will the taxpayer stop paying and save themselves, forcing the inevitable to come sooner than later?
Or will they wait and allow themselves to be dragged into the toilet where they will share equally in the misery caused by the left?
I love this line, where your neighbor has no rights and you have no responsibility.
This article is either cofused or overly dramatic.
Truer words have never been written!
How so?
I really don’t think most people who voted for Obama knew they were going to get socialism. I think most are too stupid to even know what socialism is. They voted for him because they didn’t want to vote for the old guy who was like Bush. They voted for him because he spoke well (with teleprompter help) and McCain seems doddering and inarticulate. They voted for him because they were hung up on seeing a minority in the White House. But socialism? I really honestly don’t think the majority of Obama voters considered it would happen after Obama’s election. The media types did but not the regular Joes out there who voted for him.
Republicans shouldn’t make the mistake that half the country wants socialism just because they elected Obama. Remember he ran like a moderate and promised tax cuts for everyone but the top 2 percent. He ran on hope and change, not socialism. McCain probably wouldn’t even have gotten the 58 million votes at all if it wasn’t for Joe the Plumber making it clear that Obama wanted redistribution of wealth. Those 58 million votes were against Obama, not necessarily for McCain.
I think McCain could have won if he had separated himself from the bailout in October by voting No. He voted for that bailout so people shrugged and said, “What’s the diff? I’ll vote for the guy who can speak well, not the old dude who might die in office.”
Unfortunately, this isnt even socialism. If it were truly socialism, at least those of us footing the bill would get the benefits as well. Under the current system, I foot the bill, but I get exactly 0% of the”benefits”. I make to much, those are for the poor folk that I must support.
How about we change the AMT so that EVERYONE pays a minimum of 5% of their income as taxes?
Normally I’m anti tax, but it is becoming obvious that the class warfare as reached a point were the 51% are getting a free ride on the 49%.
From News weak “We’re all socialists now”

A decade ago U.S. government spending was 34.3 percent of GDP, compared with 48.2 percent in the euro zonea roughly 14-point gap, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. In 2010 U.S. spending is expected to be 39.9 percent of GDP, compared with 47.1 percent in the euro zonea gap of less than 8 points. As entitlement spending rises over the next decade, we will become even more French.
Where is John Galt when you need him ??
“Greed is putting money before PEOPLE.”
It is obvious you don’t know what money is. It’s that ignorance that has made growth of collectivism and socialism in this country possible.

Hank
They voted for him because the press told them to...
They are indeed fools. However, that said, socialists are always ill-informed, foolish and entirely selfish.
They will learn the hard way, as they always must.
Good point!
This is worse than socialism... I think technically speaking, it’s called “tyranny.”
