Interesting, sounds like trying to regain relevance
*shrug* I thought is was more like 1-10%...
Yes, and the tape was barely mentioned today.
Thanks, Fars. I agree - must view.
Nuclear Iran is far more a concern. I don’t think OBL and Z have the pull anymore under current conditions. Give the annointed one more time and he’ll let them regain traction - then there would be trouble.
Thanks for the ping, Velveeta.
Government warns of nuclear terror threat
Britain faces an increased threat of a terrorist attack involving a chemical, biological or nuclear bomb, a major new government report has warned.
An increase in the theft and smuggling of dangerous substances means that terrorists are more likely to be able to use weapons such as a dirty bomb, according to the report.
The warning comes in the Government’s counter-terrorism strategy document called Contest 2, the most significant redrafting of the Government’s fight against violent extremists for six years.
The report warns: “Contemporary terrorist organisations aspire to use chemical, biological, radiological and even nuclear weapons......
I agree that Iran is a great concern.
Feels like trouble brewing all around us though.
You’re welcome, fanfan.
And my thoughts go out to the good folks at FreeDominion.
Report Unveils UK’s Chronology of Terror
The 176-page report on counter-terrorism efforts in the United Kingdom released Tuesday following six years of secrecy provides a chilling chronology of declassified al-Qaida attacks in the United Kingdom.
Among them:

Terrorism Recruiting Manual Worries Authorities
For months now, counterterrorism officials have seen signs that al-Qaida has been looking for new and innovative ways to recruit terrorists, including a new manual that has surfaced on the Internet.
Researchers at West Point recently stumbled on the 51-page manual while they were visiting a jihadi chat room, called Ecles. It’s a Web site that allows members to have interactive discussions, post videos and download manuals. Ecles is the second most popular jihadi chat room on the Web, and al-Qaida often posts things there. Because of that, it is a place counterterrorism analysts track regularly.
So when the West Point analysts discovered a step-by-step primer called “The Art of Recruiting Mujahedeen,” it got their attention......

CAIRs Well-Deserved Expulsion
Terrorism is only one expression of jihad there are others as dangerous.
A week ago, the FBI officially announced that it has cut ties with the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The self-styled civil-rights organization is characteristically squawking, but the FBIs move was patently overdue so much so that we ought to be asking: Why on earth did the FBI have ties with CAIR in the first place? .....

Very, very well done. I disagree with removing the electoral college. The liberals are breeding like jack rabbits. Could we still win? It’s hard enough with the thousands of manufactured votes courtesy of ACORN.
Al Qaeda-trained Britons return from Pakistan
More than 20 Britons who have trained in al Qaeda terror camps inside Pakistan have returned to Britain, according to Pakistani intelligence.
The Britons, whose families are from Pakistan, were monitored by Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence agency, Sky News reported. But the ISI failed to notify British intelligence until after the men entered the country, the news agency reported.....

‘Global War On Terror’ Is Given New Name
Bush’s Phrase Is Out, Pentagon Says
~snippet~
In a memo e-mailed this week to Pentagon staff members, the Defense Department’s office of security review noted that “this administration prefers to avoid using the term ‘Long War’ or ‘Global War on Terror’ [GWOT.] Please use ‘Overseas Contingency Operation.’ “
