The Senate agreed to SHORTEN the rules-based 30 hour debate time between invoking cloture and voting on passage.
Ordered further, That if cloture is invoked on the amendment, then post-cloture time run during any recess or adjournment of the Senate on Monday, February 9, 2009; provided, that all post-cloture time be considered expired at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.Ordered further, That on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, after the Senate reconvenes, the time until 12:00 noon be equally divided and controlled between the Leaders or their designees; provided, that if a budget point of order is raised against the amendment, a motion to waive the applicable point of order be considered made; provided further, that if the motion to waive is agreed to, the amendment be agreed to, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table; further, that if there is no point of order against the amendment, the adoption of the amendment be subject to a 60 vote threshold; further, that upon disposition of the amendment, the bill, as amended, be read a third time, and the Senate then proceed to vote on passage of the bill.

Maybe they can force them to ACTUALLY read the bill for the FIRST time (that should take until April Fools Day).
