Good Job. I've sent e-mail letters to my two Senators as well as Sen. Specter. This bill needs to be stopped!
It's too bad that the media is so silent as to the contents of the bill - although the people are solidly against it, if more people really knew what was in this monstrosity, this 'Porkulus', they'd revolt.

Great letter: brief, to the point, and deadly accurate. The Democrats are playing these three Senators for fools, and I fear they will not be disappointed.

Well written. Not unkind, makes the point that this is a pork bill, not a stimulus bill. Huzzah.

Excellent!
“...However, statements by your Democratic colleagues show that they have no intention of abiding by the compromises negotiated with you. In short, the Democrats are playing you and the American people for suckers.”
How true. I hope the three of them take that to heart.

Good job and thank you for all you are doing!!
I am curious though, with all of this so called urgency that this bill has to be passed yesterday, why are we not shouting loud and clear that it is the wrong (on so many levels) approach to fix what ails our economy?
We have historical proof via JFK, Reagan and Bush that is indisputable proof of how to stimulate the economy.
We know what works and it ain't massive government spending us into debt
We used to say that you can't tax and spend your way to prosperity. What happened to our core philosophy?

I don’t have a way to verify this but I am hearing that Obama just said there were no earmarks in the Stiumulus plan in a speech he is giving right now.
