Trickle down blame!
I forgive you.
Do I have it in proper perspective? Pretty sure.
This Stickittous Bill is not a done deal.
We can stop Obama and the other Devil Worshipin', Satanic Inspired, Communists from passing this. And, when we do, we will sap Obama of any confidence in getting anything done. If we don't he will be so pumped up that he will continue to pass, with the collusion of congress, more legislation and bills that will further erode your rights.
Take two (2) actions, today, that will have a powerful impact on defeating this bill that will Stick It To US.
Contact 10 Senators by phone today.
That is, you need to get to a human being and make it clear that you DO NOT WANT this Stickittous Bill to pass.
Tell the assistant to the Senator you are going to be brief and simply say "I am opposed to the so called Stimulus Bill and I urge the Senator to vote No. Thank you and please urge the Senator to VOTE NO."
There is no need to go into some tirade and you have better things to anyway (like contact 9 more senators offices). It will be enough to implore the senator to VOTE NO.
The Second powerful action you can take is go to 10 senators websites and make clear, once again, that you do not want this bill to pass and you strongly urge the senator to vote no.
The 3 senators you absolutely must contact are the RINOs. Make sure you call Senator Snowe of Maine. She thinks she is a movie star and made the rounds on TV and other news organizations this weekend. She looked very proud and had the biggest smile. With enough calls you can get her to change her mind.

And,
Absolutely, contact your two senators who represent the state you live in.
The senators use websites with forms that enable them to organize the communication they receive logically. It is a good thing but does require a little extras work on your part to make the message clear and unmistakable, VOTE NO
Here is what you do:
or
· What is the general topic of your message?
Possible choices may show the Stimulus Bill or may not
If the Stimulus bill is not listed, copy/paste the following in the subject line:
"Stimulus Bill Vote No
In the body before you type your message and at the end copy/paste the following in the subject line:
"Stimulus Bill Vote No
Type your heart out and make clear you DO NOT WANT THIS?
Here is the list of every Senator Website. Just click on the name or where it says "Web Form" and flame away.

Begging for a PhotoShop of Sens. Specter, Collins and Snowe with Obama-messiah in a manger. Add in “Animal Farm” characters for good measure. Sen. Reid and Speaker Palosi as poor excuses of Joesph and Mary round out the farce.

A couple points. Procedurally, Collins name comes up first in the roll call, but she doesn't have to vote the first time her name is called. I have never, not one time, seen the voting completed on the first time through the membership roll.
As for which of them will vote with the Democrats, they probably calculate which of them has least to lose, or is least likely to suffer the ultimate fate (lose an election) as a consequence of the vote. Collins just won re-election, and isn't up again until 2014, by which time memories will be long faded. As between her and Snowe, she's a natural to take the unpopular stand.
Finally, Collins and Snowe will take this vote both ways ... voting to limit debate to 30 hours takes a 60 vote supermajority of exactly 60 votes, but passage takes a simple majority of those voting (51 or fewer). Collins will vote to limit debate (where she could vote the other way, and effectively force serious negotiations), and claim that she voted against the bill, assuming she votes against it when the time comes for final passage.
Calling them is a waste of breath. The Senate and Congress would suffer great unease if the public gave them the silent treatment.
THE WHOLE CONGRESS AND SENATE NEEDS TO GO...NEED ALL NEW ONES
This goverment is for the people, bythe people, and of the people.and if the people doesn’t like how the goverment is run.We have the right to form a new goverment....
You can't expect better than that.
I assume your forgiveness was as conditional as my apology.
If that bill is too socialist for Voinovich then it scares the hell out of me.
THESE THREE MIGHT RESPOND TO A AVALANCHE OF NEGATIVE CALLS, MAIL, EMAIL, PHONEING REPEATEDLY. IT IS ONE THING TO MAKE FALSE BRAVO STATEMENTS AND ANOTHER TO ACTUALLY FACE THE DISPLEASURE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Right up to the passing of this bill ... there is still the possibility of changing it ...
Let me be more clear. The bill got 58 or 59 Dim votes, whatever the final number was, because the Dims were under great pressure from their leadership and from the WH to vote yes.
First off, I have that tripe before. While it is true they are elected by their constituents to represent that state, they do in fact represent all of the United States and territories.
Every vote they make has real consequences for each and every American.
When they vote for this Stick it To US Bill they are taking money from every single American that pays Federal taxes to support this boondogle.
So it is a shallow statement that insults the intellect of those who see through this.
You can tell that senator that is BS! They are casting votes for the state represent but the outcome affects all of us.
Michael Steele should think up a significant punishment for these goons. It could be his first important task.
