How does he arrive at the 30% figure? Rocket science.
Is there anything Joe doesn't know?
A million economists out of work and Joe is doing their work for free.

I just heard the mayor of Atlanta claim that with the $1 billion she will get she can create 550 jobs.
At this rate Obama’s plan could create 454,850 jobs. One-tenth of what he has promised.

Government gets it wrong most of the time....not just 30% of the time.
When government leaves the private sector alone, it will always find the best and most profitable solutions....or it will die....unless the gubmint jumps in to save them....which continues the cycle of failure because of minimization of risk.

Oh, he's nuts allright, but he knows exactly what he and his party are doing. (It helps him that many of them are nuts too, like Pelosi and Reid.) Notice that the MSM is still propagandizing for him, proclaiming a "crisis" and just last nite, "a bipartisan working group".
It's insane, allright, but it's in the service of an insane agenda.
We live in interesting times.

How does he arrive at the 30% figure? He takes the three-letter word "JOBS", multiplies it by the remaining fingers on his two hands, divides it by the number of plugs in his head, factors in the number of Home Depot's he's visited, subtracts the $1,200 suits in his closet, checks the temperature in Paris...and gives up and pulls 30% out of his butt.

Neither Biden nor Zero understand the economics behind this. They're doing what they're doing because that's what their economic advisors are advising. Zero said as much
at Williamsburg the other night:
"We're not moving quickly because we're trying to jam something down people's throats," he said. "We're moving quickly because we're told that if we don't move quickly, that the economy is going to keep on getting worse." (emphasis added)
They're evidently too lazy to even try to understand. Zero will likely be throwing Summers and Timmy the tax cheat under the bus when it becomes apparent that this isn't working.

How does he arrive at the 30% figure? From the same study that concluded 47.438% of all statistics are made up out of thin air.

If Webster’s has a good word for “non vetting”, that is PRECISELY what the US and world media has done with Obama. We will all suffer on account of it. And I mean, it could be BIG TIME stuff coming down due to his amateurishness.

ZERO already feels closed in by the WH and has to escape. He is feeling the pressure and agree with others that man is going to crack.
He is making Carter look better which I didn’t think possible.
Did you see that the RAT Henry is rupporting this pork bill? Hope he keeps it up as it will make it easier to tie the Dems to the pork bill in OK in 2010. Also Mary Fallin is now on Armed Services instead of Tom Cole which is a real plus for Tinker AFB.
Still waiting for the shoe to drop on the voter fraud in the last election here by ACORN. Investigation is still ongoing.

Looking at were the billions of dollars in Porkulus Maximus is going to be spent, I think Biden should raise his odds of “getting it wrong” a bit ...say to 95%. When in the next 18 months the economy continues to tank, unemployment goes up and inflation kicks in the Democrats will face the wrath of the voters.

I concur with your statement. I watched OBozo speak the other night and he sounded like he was crying about being handed a bad economy. I didn't hear Bush cry about the economy he was handed and the terrorist attacks. Suck it up boy, and get in there and be somebody.

"This current 47-year-old bird in there in the Oval Office is obviously an empty suit and clearly cannot handle the sheer weight of it (not that Biden can either!), and IMHO is heading for a major nervous breakdown with the world being the way it is and him shouldering the responsibilities." I agree. Obama is breaking down. At that Democratic retreat he got up before the crowd and just whined about what he "inherited" as if he was still campaigning. He's the leader now, he got the job, time to quit whining and get to work. But no! He just whines.
And him saying that "spending" is "stimulus" was purely retarded. He's headed for a break down. It's already too much for him.

Obama had to pull Biden aside after this one and warn him to either get it right or STFU.
Obama: “Biden, you idiot... there’s 100% chance we got it wrong! That’s the PLAN, you moron. 30% is the INFLATION RATE in 2010! Make notes on your hand or something, but stop screwing this simple stuff up or I’ll send you to Afghanistan!”

I am somewhat certain that foreign intelligence agency reports on the current (newly-installed) United States Government executive branch leadership, which of course has detailed psych profiles on all of them, must surely show (at least work by MI-5, the Chinese 国家案全部, Tokyo's 内閣情報室, the Norkies, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Putin's old outfit, etc, etc.) that Barack H. Obama has an elevated potentiality for instability and becoming erratic, prone to a mental collapse--with an arrogant, Mussolini-type savior complex on top of it. 51% or more of the American people haven't a clue and will be the last to find out--but these are the opiated, dumbed down sheeple fed by bread and circuses-this is way beyond their grasp. They will be shocked. It would invariably be the complete polar opposite of what is out there in the public domain on Obambi, worshipping this guy 24/7 in just about every media outlet on the planet. Wiser minds, though, know...Freepers can sense it, too. In other words, Freepers, we should start a countdown betting pool here on FR. But it gives me no enjoyment folks, as an American, to have to say this in an open, worldwide forum such as Free Republic -- but guys you know I call 'em as I see 'em. And we always want to cut to the chase here on FR.

I’m commanded to pray for my enemies, but sinner that I am, it’s really hard to get the hang of it for Obama.
You make a good point about the breakdown, and it’s helpful to me in my quandary, too.
I am just going to pray that nothing gets in the way of his determined self-destruction. As Harry Reid and Arlen Specter said of the bailout, “It’s a compromise, but it’s the best I can do”.

The closest thing would be what professionals call a “WAG” which is a wild a$$ guess. Compare that to a “SWAG” which is a sophisticated wild a$$ guess based on some extremely rudimentary calculations using incomplete data.
Typically either a WAG or a SWAG will be based on experience. In Biden’s case since neither experience or data enter into the 30%, it’s simply a HUTAG which is a head up the A$$ guess. Rectal calculator is much more succinct.
