Republican Hall of Shame
Posted on 02/06/2009 7:43:09 PM PST by american_ranger
I propose that the new RNC Chairman, Michael Steele, start a "Hall of Shame" with plaques, busts, et al of all Republican (in name only) Representatives and Senators who betray the Republican Party for their own selfish interests.
TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Crime/Corruption; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: hallofshame; rino; rinopurge; vanity

Plaques that big, even glue-ups, would be susceptible to expansion/contraction failures.

Dear FRiends,
In light of what is transpiring in our nation's capitol tonight, more than ever, we need to ensure that places like Free Republic and other like-minded places continue to speak the plain truth. Newspapers are dying and the current administation will either bail them out or allow them to fail. If they are bailed out, they will be even more beholding to the coming socialist agenda. If they are allowed to fail, the powers that be will force the remaining electronic media to fill the void. Local coverage only. No national syndicated news/talk. The "Fairness Doctrine", like it or not.
After that, the internet. Free Republic. And others.
We need to get this FReepathon over and right now. We need to show that we are serious and will continue forward and thrive, not just survive.
If you can spare a couple of bucks, that would be great...If not, God bless you and please stop by the FReepathon thread and give it a bump.
We're all in this together.

Spector’s up for re-election in 2 years. He almost lost to Toomey in ‘04. With his support of the stimulus bill he is easy pickings if we can find someone to run against him.

Go ahead, call me deranged. But, mark my words: after the Porkulus Maximus has been allowed to feed on live U.S. taxpayers, McCain will return to his regular treachery, including pushing an agenda of compromise and surrender, particularly with regard to amnesties for illegal aliens, the envirowhacko carbon tax proposals, health care "reform" with Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy, and only God knows what else.

Hall of shame mya** these people and others like them should have been sent packing a long time ago. There needs to be a mandatory retirement age in the congress.

IIRC, he probably would have lost to Toomey if Bush and Santorum had stayed neutral. I think this also cost Santorum his senate seat the next election. Not being from PA, I only know what I read on FR.

If you can spare a couple of bucks, that would be great...I still have two ongoing pledges from previous Freepathons. I would love to give more, but the ongoing financial crisis is really biting my family personally now.

Yep, I voted for Toomey in the last election. My co-worker couldn’t figure out why I wouldn’t vote for wonderful Arlen. She has since (too late) changed her tune.

Don’t remember that when Spectre was on the ropes our esteemed POTUS came to campaign for him. Another reason GW Bush loses my respect.

If both of Maines Senators, Snowe & Collins, vote FOR this stimulus package {or stymie the needed filibuster} ; We urge The RNC & all other Republican Party types to stop serving Maine Lobster at any function or fund raiser!
Sue and I wont be serving it, or eating it, until both of these Senators are gone from Office.
We wont donate to, or think well of any Republican office-seeker, serving or dinning on Maine Lobster, either.
YES, Weve e-contacted both of Mainess republican senators & the RNC with our Promise.
