“Its past for Americans to stop yelling at their TV AND ORGANIZE A MARCH ON WASHINGTON.”

I was just thinking the same thing. What else is there to do really?

Take up arms!!!!

Serious men are making serious decisions.

Desperate measures for desperate times.

And I don't mean the idiots that are voting right now.

Republicans also need to keep reminding voters that it was the same DEMOCRAT Congress that sent that 700 billion Wallstreet bailout to President Bush’s desk. If they wouldn’t have passed it, he couldn’t have signed it. All these bailouts have come from a RAT Congress and Republicans need to make that point often!

President Bush pretty much destroyed the Republican party when he pushed that massive Wall Street bailout bill through, IMHO.

If the Senate changes the bill and it gets passed, does it go back to the House or a House Committee for a vote?

I always thought the bills were supposed to go from the House to the Senate to the President, but it seems like I have seen bills go back to the House for a vote.

The bill is junk. The Senate bill eliminated tax cuts of $18 billion. The bill is now all spending.

When the Senate and House bills are different, they go into committee to rectify the differences. The president only signs a bill once both house have passed the same bill.

I’ve heard the calls are 10-1 against the stimulus. And the polling gets worse for it by the hour.

So this is a money grab and nothing more. The end of the Republic.

And if the committee can make changes, does it go back for another vote?

Actually, I enjoy listening to Dick Morris but he is often wrong. Sometimes because there is a wrench in the works that isn’t foreseen.

I’m hoping this will be one of those times. The media is being premature in trying to aid Obama in dragging this thing across the finish line.

Queen Nancy of Syria is not happy with cuts and may send more garbage back the other way.

If this happens and it should, the fury of the American people may still rise up enough to make someone in the Senate queasy and then the whole domino process starts.

If one falls, the others don’t want to be on the hook for nothing.....

This is the way of the mighty Rat ship. It happened with Shamnesty exactly this way. There’s still a chance.

Watch and pray. Pray for our nation.

Elections have consequences and, as Zero put it, they won. Too many of us stayed home so as to punish the Republican Party for nor having a true Conservative running for President. I warned that a win by Zero would be too much consequence but I got posts chiding me for not being Conservative enough. I constantly wrote that 2 years is enough time to do maximum damage to our country. Zero hit the ground running and is doing massive damage in his first month. It will take decades to undo what Zero and his Left-wing moonbats will be able to get in place. Pray for our country.

Good post! I wonder how the Ron Paul supporters feel right now. Let me guess “if they had nominated a REAL conservative, blah blah, it’s not my fault blah blah”.

Do we have any FReepers or Patriots with b@11s to be there with signs to let this a$$wipe know what we think of him?

OK, here is what I have gathered. Not sure if this is correct though:

Because this is a spending bill the house has the last vote because the house "holds the purse strings". The House will vote first once passed it will move to the Senate if any changes are made by the Senate and amendments added it will need to go to conference committee this is a committee of House and Senate who work out the differences. Then the house will need to pass it again before it goes to the president

So, Snow doesn't like some of the things that Peloser put in the bill. So, she votes to remove these items and it happens. Then it could go back to the committee and the committee could add it back in by rectifying the difference. The House votes again, it passes and then goes to the President. If that is right, I don't like the way that is set up.

“May I take a moment here as a born and bred Pennsylvanian and profusely apologize for Specter’s presence in the senate. I voted for Pat Toomey when he ran against Specter and was more than a little pissed off when Santorum and Bush stabbed Toomey in the back and campaigned for Arlen. He is a disgrace as a senator. Here’s hoping he retires tomorrow. I cannot stand the man.”

This was the same with me. Pat Toomey was a great canidate. He won every county in the state expect the winnies in Philly county.
