That is not the claim. The claim is that they would remember delievering a black baby from a white mother. In 1961, when such things were much rarer than today, even in Hawaii. Add an exotic name like "Barack Hussein Obama" and ones memory would surely be stimulated by hearing that name again, from a sort of Black guy who is running and/or just been elected President.
You also have to remember that in those days there were more GPs than OB-GYN types delivering babies. His mother would have seen the doctor at least a few times, or at least once, before the birth, and then again after the birth, and that for an OB-GYN. IF a GP, then the doctor likely would have seen the child at least a few times. Stanley Ann would not have gone to some "free clinic" or even the public charity hospital, given her mother's position. ...if they lived in Hawaii for those first few years. The doctor who delivered me, and my 6 year younger brother, also did my pre-college physical and I think my brother's as well (my brother is only 5 years older than BHO). I think that was the last time I saw him. Dr. Place was his name.
If you read what I replied to, the claim is very specific. A doctor should remember the babies they deliver. But even doctors have chimed in and said that is bogus.
As for the race and name things, consider this:
1) Babies are named after delivery and doctors may never even know the baby’s name if they don’t pay attention to such things.
2) At birth, unless both parents are there, it could easily be unknown what race the father is. Many mixed race babies do not look mixed at birth but develop pigment later. Even with some pigment, the mix could have easily been assumed as white mother/Hawaiian father given Obama’s skin tones. That certainly would not have raised any eyebrows.
Lots of reasons to question Obama, but the doctor not coming forward is not one of them. Especially since he’s dead. We’re better served sticking to the real issues, like forged COLBs and the like.
This is how it goes:
Constitutional defender states:
“Where are Obama’s witnesses? Every other president's natural born status was **self evident** due to the huge number of witnesses to the standing of his family in the community. Where are the neighbors, friends, and relatives that visited the newborn in the hospital and home, took meals to the family, attended the christening, and watched his parents and the child grow in the community? Where are the doctors, midwives, or nurses who attended the birth?
Stillbirther responds:
“ As a doctor who has delivered “X” number of babies in 1972, I don't remember any of them!”
( Variation #2) Stillbirther responds:
“The Constitution says nothing about a doctor or nurse witnessing the birth.”
El Gato and Slappy Pappy, do you get it? The stillbirthers are throwing out a red herring, focusing in on one tiny aspect, and too many of those who defend Constitution are running like a pact of distracted dogs after it!
Other presidents had **mountains** of self-evident evidence that they were natural born. Obama has presented NONE!
It is an outrage that our courts have ruled that the common citizen has “no standing” to see that their president is natural born.
