"What you are referring to is his COLB, not his Birth Certificate."

The COLB is an official Hawaiian birth certificate. It carries the same legal weight as the original record.

"Backers of the idea that Mr. Obama isn't a natural-born citizen say Mr. Obama's certification of live birth doesn't quell the issue. They say a certification can be obtained after birth."

"But the Hawaii State Department of Health said Monday that there is no difference between a certificate and a certification of live birth in the eyes of the state. For instance, either can be used to confirm U.S. citizenship to obtain a passport or state ID, said Alvin Onaka, a research and statistics officer at the Department of Health."

THE WASHINGTON TIMES Thursday, August 28, 2008

"The COLB has been widely discredited as a fraud by some."

No. Some guy on the internet says it is forged. That analysis is amateurish nonsense which has not been validated by any real expert.

"Does the COLB reflect the actual place of BIRTH or the place of REGISTRATION?"

The COLB clearly says place of birth. There is absolutely no reason to assume that the state of Hawaii would lie about it.

"The only definitive, authentic, document is the one that 0bama refuses to show."

In fact, as stated above, the COLB is definitive and authentic.

That's a little disingenuous, a poorly worded line on Standard Form design isn't necessarily "a lie". If I'm asked to fill in a form that asks where I was born and it has a line for "city" then I put in my place of birth, but it wasn't a "city" it was a town, does that make either me, or the form designer, a liar?

Obama's Aunt claims she was a witness to the birth in Mombassa - So I make the same statement, There is absolutely no reason to assume that the she would lie about it.

And she is the ONLY (claimed) witness to the birth, and no one has disproved her claim.

If you know different, kindly tell us all which hospital he was born in and we can all stop this argument..

I have no horse in this race, I'm mainly just reading and think nothing will come of the controversy.

However, WND seems to think Dr. Polarik is authentic. Link.

Have you emailed Joseph Farah to find out if Dr. Polarik was vetted before his article was published? If not, your comment above is uninformed opinion not fact and has ZERO credibility. Besides that such a statement makes the rest of your repeated assertions suspect.

Forensic documents expert Sandra Ramsey Lines, who debunked the Rathergate papers, agrees with Polarik about the fraudulent nature of the Certification published on Factcheck and elsewhere. Read Polarik’s work and decide for yourself how “amateurish” you think it is.
