Do you believe that the November 22, 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy was the result of shots fired by a lone assassin from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository?
Or are you one of many who believe it was a conspiracy that involved the highest levels of our government?
The case is not closed regarding what actually happened on that fateful day.
The late President Gerald R. Ford, the last surviving member of the commission admitted that the CIA destroyed pertinent documents, covering up the investigation of the assassination, in a recently published book.
Tim Miller, the book publisher who helped author the text, believes there was a conspiracy and that Ford knew even more than he told his publisher and the world. Ford shares many other breath-taking admissions with the reader in this, his final book, written three years prior to his own death.
What did Ford say about the "single bullet theory," the Zapruder film, and Oliver Stones movie, JFK?
"Who killed John F. Kennedy?"
Tim Miller joins us to discuss tonight at 9 p.m. ET -- link to the show here.
The debate will rage forever, I guess, but on the whole, I think I agree with you. The most likely explanation is that it was the right guy (or is that the wrong guy?) in the right place at the right time. For Kennedy, I think it was a case of "some days, things just don't go your way....."
“Someone would have squealed by now. “
Or some have? There was a guy (now dead i think) who worked for the cia who said he was one of the 3 tramps arrested on site. He said all tramps were cia backup for the operation, and gave names. Photo comparison of the extant tramps photo(s) and the names given (including himself) was interesting.
Myth. He was able to get to the break room from the sixth floor in time. This has been demonstrated by recreations.
He was working on that floor. There finger and palm prints on the rifle and the boxes that place him there.
The policeman didn't change his story in any way that would make a material difference.
At some point in the 90s the original arrest records for those three tramps were found in the Dallas Police files. They were all identified and the living ones interviewed. They were just tramps.
***Myth. He was able to get to the break room from the sixth floor in time. This has been demonstrated by recreations.***
How? The Elevator was disabled and witnesses didn’t see him use the stairway. What did he do? Jump on the floor and fall magically through a hole? Recreations can show anything you desire! I suppose if you believe the ‘Magic Bullet’ theory, you could believe the ‘Magic Hole’ theory too.
***He was working on that floor. There finger and palm prints on the rifle and the boxes that place him there.***
The finger prints were added later, false evidence reported by a witness in the morgue. Of course he was working there, that was his ‘Intel’ orders to stay put until his next assignment.
***The policeman didn’t change his story in any way that would make a material difference.”***
The change in the story made it more believable that Oswald could have rushed to where he was found.
Ping!
then compare the tramp photo with pics of his father. Obviously blurry images are one thing, but the shortest tramp has some familiar features.
No I did it. But it was an unseen time travel episode.
LBJ had it done. “The most to gain...” and all that.
Oswald killed JFK.
I’m convinced.
But who helped him or egged him on and why Ruby of all folks to kill Oswald.
Those are the big questions.
I’m not sure about that.
Deep Throat at Watergate stayed quiet over 30 years with far less implications.
E Howard Hunt and Carlos Marcello and Santos Trafficante and Cuban 2506 Brigade type mercs never seem the type to me who would rat or needed to vent to get stuff off their chest.
Kennedy ...like someone else who comes to mind....made a lot of enemies quick.
Why?
Parade route planning? Gen. Chas Cabell’s brother.
No shot after Z313?
Bet me $100,000, get a lawyer, draw up a contract.
You’ll find out it was the biggest con job in history. And you’ll loose whatever you bet.
Witnesses not seeing him doesn't mean he didn't use the stairway.
"The finger prints were added later, false evidence reported by a witness in the morgue. Of course he was working there, that was his Intel orders to stay put until his next assignment."
There is no evidence fingerprints were added later. You admit he was working there. The issue was you said he couldn't be placed there. Now you are throwing out other things. There's no evidence he had any "Intel orders" to do anything. Just because people can dream these things up doesn't mean they happened.
"The change in the story made it more believable that Oswald could have rushed to where he was found."
No.
Is he REALLy dead????
Don’t need a bet. If you’ve got proof, show it right here.
Not so many people knew of the conspiracy. Several people introduced different theories mucking up the picture.
Most people got tired of multiple theories and don't care anymore.
Some witnesses died early on
Many are gone now 45 years later.
Easy to go back to basics and simple story (foccault's razor?).
You forgot Aristotle Onassis’ relationship with Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Aristotle Onassis’ direct and secret lineage to the philosopher who taught kings and philosophy. Doesn’t that fit in somewhere?
Some Left-Wingers think Che Guevara was indisputably the Lost Dauphin, although G. Gordon Liddy (and Elvis Presley) have partisans.
BTW, isn’t “tippit” a kayaking term? (O I get it ... a code!)
