WASHINGTON (AP) - Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday. Killefer was the second major Obama administration nominee to withdraw and the third to have tax problems complicate their nomination after President Barack Obama announced their selection.

The White House said Obama had accepted Killefer's decision and that the 55-year-old executive with consulting giant McKinsey & Co., would explain her reasons for pulling out later Tuesday.

Does 0bama have anyone working for him who’s not a “Czar”?

Travis’ conjectures about “Russia 1917” are looking more likely by the day.

Well, it sure explains why they don’t mind raising them!

Still can they get away with another case where the woman with the nanny problem has to resign, while the men with tax problems get named to the cabinet?

I actually laughed out loud when I read the headline and opening sentences of this article.

Not in joy at an Obama failure, but in resignation—this is what we get when our population votes for someone based on the desire to be swept up in the history of it all.

Somewhere, Peggy Noonan is shaking her head in disappointment and penning some pretentious excuse for The Half.

Hmmm... somehow the word “czar” just doesn't fit this great country of ours, does it?

I wonder if I have a tax problem?

Gee, good thing I’m not being appointed to some big, phony baloney job in the O Administration, huh?

I further wonder, how many people now regret that they voted for Mr. Obama? They probably wouldn’t admit it this early, but you just know they’re thinking something like this: “Good Lord, is he really this stupid? And is he just another tax and spend liberal?”

Ouch.

Glenn Beck is now talking about how the BHO cannot be wondering the same thing. I'll post something later this evening from this website if anything is on there about it.

Note that she is an exec with McKinsey & Co., the very company that hired Chelsea Clinton at some unusually high salary for an inexperienced, albeit well educated, employee.

I doubt if zero’s ADD-afflicted legions are even paying attention. They’re probably...

The Democrats’ theory is that if you do all of your terrible things up front and as quickly as possible, that the people will forget it all after several years have passed and the next election rolls around. What they never seem to get is that when things get bad enough, people do remember it all. Right now, Obama’s playing roulette with his Presidency and putting all of his chips on one number.

I’m beginning to think the “D” after a politician’s name stands for “Doesn’t pay their taxes”
