Yes - he really did say that - I watched the acceptance of the trophy - although you could barely make out Obama - it sounded like he said I would like to thank President Bama - I think he may not be all there - looks like he may shrivel up sometime soon.

“Maybe after Obama declared that he was in favor of the Steelers, those hundred yards of penalties against the Cardinals weren’t just a coincidence...it is the Chicago way.”

Now THAT is brilliant. You know is Bush had in advance declared that he was for a team a team that had just won the Super Bowl - and they won under the same circumstances you just cited - there would be a full fledged, televised Congressional investigation, LOL.

I hope Rush enjoyed the win and the Obama stroking by the Steelers owner.

Still, I love our Steelers. This doesn’t change that!

Still, I love em too, and since we (taxpayers) recently built the Rooney's a new stadium?

I didn’t watch after the game, that’s why I’m asking....

Is anyone who supported this guy for Pres really “all there”?

“I hope Rush enjoyed the win and the Obama stroking by the Steelers owner.”

I would be shocked if we did’t hear about that from Rush.

To be fair, Heinz Field is also used by the Pitt Panthers and by local High School teams for playoffs.

Just one more reason to hate the Steelers.

Apart from the athleticism of the teams, the Super Bowl seems to embody every tacky element of American society.

I was pretty shocked when I heard 0 say in the Matt Lauer interview that Dan Rooney had campaigned for him all over Western PA. I remember Art Rooney as a faithful Catholic and fierce Pro-Lifer. Thought I’d fall out of my chair whe3n I heard that old fool thanking 0 after the game! What the hell did he do to help them win???

...another reason I was rooting for Arizona.

Wonder if Rush was sitting in the owner’s box during the game, hmmmm?

I'll try to be more fair.

High School teams use the field one day a year.

Pitt uses the field and facilities.

Still I love the Steelers and Panthers too, and since we built Pitt and the Rooney's a new stadium?

next week maybe.. or when he gets back. It was the first thing ol’ Dan said.. like he had been programmed to say the words.. who knows..

Not sure what the halftime was all about either, I clicked thru and saw Bruce on his knees with a mic stand between his legs,, kind of reminded me of a Prince moment. I completely missed all the Obama and a great deal of the pre-game, one can only stomach so much OverBite&Collingsworth .. and I feeel fine. ;-)

WHat is funny about Dan ROoney is that he campaigned all across PA for Obama, but he moved even faster to get the ownership situation finished before Obama took office - EVen Crazy ol Dan understands that Taxes are going up under Obama.
