Just when I thought it was going to be a Steelers rout - the Cardinals come alive like I have seen no team do in such a short time.
I always go for the underdog - unless that underdog is a NE team. My Seahawk hat is off to the Cardinals. Thanks for the great game.
In 2279 you said the Steelers used to be the Pirates. The Pittsburgh Steelers were never called the Pittsbugh Pirates. I was correcting you.

Poor Ickie ended up selling carpeting or something. We had a couple of good teams. Not any time in the memory of the average teen ager, but they did exist once upon a time, in Cincinnati, I promise, they did.

My husband is 1 of those rabid (geez is it RIDICULOUSLY true) fans, and we even visited the 75-year Steeler celebration exhibit in the HOF last year.

That was karma for the way Paul Brown screwed over Bill Walsh for all those years.
He didn't want Walsh to be a coach for anyone else, but would hire him to be the Bengals' coach when he stepped down. Didn't even have the decency to tell Walsh that he had picked Tiger Johnson as his replacement. Walsh had to find out from the media.

Yunz outside of Pittsburgh are going to think this is funny, but the next 90 minutes of TV here will be devoted to live coverage of the celebration in Pittsburgh. Almost all Pittsburgh schools are announcing a two hour delay tomorrow.
