completely forgot about that ... too funny !!! It’s helped offset the high blood pressure Rooney gave me.
To: death2tyrants
And he just thanked Obama. What an idiot Rooney is. Obama had nothing to do with this victory. You never know when you might need a bailout.

Un-frakkin-believable. Rooney thanked President 0bama? Just what in the hell does he have to do with Pro football. Nothing. That's what.
So Rooney must be speaking of something else. Hmmmmm....what could that be. Scumbags all of them.

Whats it like rooting for a team whose owner gives credit to Obama. What a farce. I didn't see 0bama or the old man on the field.
But if it makes you feel better to insult the effort of both teams by making it political, feel free.
As for me, I'm cheering for the same men that Rush Limbaugh is going to be partying with tonight!

“THIS GAME WILL GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER!
THE CARDINALS WERE AWESOME! THEY TOOK IT TO THE BRINK!”
Just when I thought it was going to be a Steelers rout - the Cardinals come alive like I have seen no team do in such a short time.
I always go for the underdog - unless that underdog is a NE team. My Seahawk hat is off to the Cardinals. Thanks for the great game.

In 2279 you said the Steelers used to be the Pirates. The Pittsburgh Steelers were never called the Pittsbugh Pirates. I was correcting you.

Poor Ickie ended up selling carpeting or something. We had a couple of good teams. Not any time in the memory of the average teen ager, but they did exist once upon a time, in Cincinnati, I promise, they did.

You know, people used to thank God. Now they thank the new messiah...President Obama.

you’ve got to see Richard Kimball’s post #2362 - funny memories, and helped offset the idiot Rooney comments.

Hey we were there twice. Cried twice too. My least favorite defeat was losing with Sam Wyche as coach and only seconds left on the clock. Heartbreaker. That was karma for the way Paul Brown screwed over Bill Walsh for all those years.
He didn't want Walsh to be a coach for anyone else, but would hire him to be the Bengals' coach when he stepped down. Didn't even have the decency to tell Walsh that he had picked Tiger Johnson as his replacement. Walsh had to find out from the media.

Why did Rooney slobber all over Obama? My guess is that Oba Mao favors welfare for the rich. Wall Street was his second biggest donor after the trial lawyers.
Yunz outside of Pittsburgh are going to think this is funny, but the next 90 minutes of TV here will be devoted to live coverage of the celebration in Pittsburgh. Almost all Pittsburgh schools are announcing a two hour delay tomorrow.
