PITTSBURGH STEELERS VS. ARIZONA CARDINALS
6:00PM ET - NBC
That's right--they're supposed to interview the President some time during the pregame show....
Personally I couldn’t care less about any professional sports event, but I know that woman in post #157 is defintiely not guilty.
As they say, 2 weeks to pitchers and catchers. Plus another month, month and a half, to March Madness, the REAL TOURNMENT SEASON.
I remember the Super Bowl that he bursts unto the scene with that decisive touchdown that won the Super Bowl in 78. That was when the event was still held when there was still daylight left.
Love to see whatever benefits NBC. Conan O’Brien.
This pregame show is a five hour commercial for NBC, Universal Studios. Ive never seen so many entertainers exhibit such a complete lack of interest in, connection to, or and understanding of football.
Conan O’Brien’s recent point he made on the pregame demonstrates this.:
Love to see whatever is on NBC.
VS
LOL< that’s about it isn’t it.
Keith Oberman? Good heavens...
Trying to come up with the final score and intuition tells me 12 to 14 in favor of the Cards.
It is.
Just had the pre-game on in the background - the first time Olberman was on I turn the channel for a few minutes - the second time I just turned the thing off. I wonder how many viewers he is costing NBC?
The best thing about soccer is watching the fans tear down the stadium and riot.
:-)
Entertainment during the pregame show will be provided by Journey, Faith Hill and John Legend. Bruce Springsteen, who will perform at halftime, will be interviewed during the pregame show by Costas. NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams also plans an essay on his idol, Springsteen.
NBC would not release an hour-by-hour pregame rundown, but did say Todays Matt Lauer will have a live interview with President Barack Obama from the White House during the 2 p.m. hour.
Features on the Arizona Cardinals include segments on Ken Whisenhunt, Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. Pittsburgh Steelers profiled will include Mike Tomlin, Dick LeBeau, Troy Polamalu, James Harrison and Ben Roethlisberger.
In one sure to be interesting segment, Collinsworth sits with Patriots coach Bill Belichick and analyzes game film of the two Super Bowl teams. Harrison will look at ways to defend Fitzgerald.
Today personality Al Roker will be stationed in the NBC Super Suite, where hell interview celebrities such as Will Ferrell, Kevin James, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and Hayden Panettiere.
The Super Suite, of course, will also be a spot for NBC stars to be seen, such as Tina Fey, Jay Leno, Conan OBrien and Rainn Wilson.
Can’t win ‘em all. At least your half ok. And it ain’t baseball season quite yet. So. What’re you doing after the game? :-)
