Bruce still thinks he is too cool for the room. What an a-hole
“High Life!”
A 2 second commercial. They spent $100,000.
“Springsteen is a phenom I never understood (in 30 years!!)”
Right before he came out with his first album, he was plastered all over the front of every major magazine. Had some really good promoters early on. I’ve always thought of him as a manufactured talent like the Monkees. Okay—back to the game....
Nils in a dated bit of film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVnbbK4SisQ
He is the guitar and songwriting and sound and voice behind springsteen
Halftime went 27 minutes.
8:02- 8:29
There is Ozzy playing over the PA in the stadium.. now that would have been a good halftime, Ozzy, Dio, and the rest of Sabbath..
I prefer the Ozzie Osborne I hear playing in the background.
bump to mark place
Yep ole Walking Death can still rip some great chords.
But this half time show is lame.
Where is Foghat when you need them? They could blow these goons away with “I Just Want To Make Love To You”, “Sweet Home Chicago”, “Honey Hush”, and “Slow Ride”.
Kenny Wayne Shepard would be wonderful for halftime.
You might want to get a refund on your HDTV. Better hurry if you bought it from Circuit City.

Hate his politics, but Bruce did great...
Tenth Avenue Freezeout
Born to Run
Workin’ on a Dream
Glory Days...
just cause he’s a moron liberal doesn’t mean he isn’t entertaining. He always puts on a great show...
I am. TV is off. Am listening to a bit of Jazz and doing a little work.
He was manufactured so the whites could have something as big as that other jackass, Michael Jackson. Boooooooooooo

I was at the checkout stand at the NTC San Diego PX in 1975/76 when I first saw his visage on the cover of TIME (or was it Newsweak).
I tried but never understood the appeal of his “music”.
Sadly Kenny Wayne IS DEAD
