Obama: No Single Action Can Cure the Economy (Hey America, YOU'VE BEEN PUNKED!)
fox news ^ | 1/31/2009 | ap

President Obama said Saturday his administration will outline a new strategy in the coming days for spending billions of federal dollars to pull the nation out of an economic crisis he described as "devastating."

Obama and his top advisers are weighing how to structure the remaining $350 billion that Congress approved last year to save financial institutions and lenders from collapse. The new president also warned there is no single action that would allow his administration to fix the struggling U.S. economy, a stark statement at the end of a week that saw hundreds of thousands of Americans lose their jobs.

"No one bill, no matter how comprehensive, can cure what ails our economy," Obama said in his weekly radio and Internet address. "So just as we jump-start job creation, we must also ensure that markets are stable, credit is flowing and families can stay in their homes."

Obama and his aides spent his first two weeks in power working on the nation's economic troubles. The final three months of last year sent the economy into its worst downhill slide in a quarter-century. The economy stumbled backward at a 3.8 percent pace, government economists said Friday; that rate could accelerate to 5 percent or more this quarter.

I thought he was going to fix it all ON DAY ONE??!!?

I never thought that, because the last thing I remember Obozo sayin' was:

America is the greatest Country in the world. I hope you will join me as we change it. - Barack Hussein Obozo

Let me rephrase that to “I predict Obama doesn’t serve out his whole first term do to the pressure from the disasters he will create.”

I can think of one action. Resign. Or someone on our side raise some money and get a solid case to SCOTUS.

Look at the S&P 500 chart since June 2008 when Hillary had the nomination stolen from her. Down down down down. All because of O plus his thug pals in Fannie & Freddie and his Alinsky CRA actions in the past.

The country has ZERO ZERO ZERO confidence in this clown.

That he may still be a dopehead is a highly disconcerting possibility. I hereby request that all people who use drugs please get out of politics and stop voting. You are screwing things up and could get people killed.

That’s right, many actions are necesary:

Action #1) Increase taxes on the wealthy.

Action #2) Increase taxes on the wealthy again.

Action #3) Increase taxes on the wealthy some more.

Action #4) Increase taxes on the rest.

Action #5) Increase taxes on anybody else.

Action #6) Increase everybody’s taxes again.

There appears to be a void in leadership in the White House.

Here we have a man who was touted as all hope and change and all we’re getting is porkulus, media collaboration, corrupt political appointments, abortion enabling, a fight for terrorist rights, uninspired negative leadership and ridicule from our newly emboldened enemies.

Obamba has already failed in every aspect and it won’t be long before he takes rest of us down with him.

10 days into his presidency and he’s beginning to repeat himself at an accelerating rate! Notice how he begins so many sentences with “as I have said before”.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction. I predict Obama doesn’t last his whole first term

I don't think you are going out on a limb. I have been saying that I feel Obama will have a breakdown of some sort during his administration. He doesn't have the emotional stamina to handle the problems of our country and criticisms he will be getting for his performance. Nor does he have the experience to guide or lead, as we all have been saying. He can only peddle empty words as he did in his campaign. When those empty words no longer get him the admiration and adoration he needs, and they don't resolve anything the country is facing, he will implode. I doubt he will withstand the real and constant scrutiny of his inept leadership that he will now get as POTUS by the media and the people. He ran on the premise of "Hope," and already he can't even give the Americans that.

It’s all part of the plan. The gloom and doom will hopefully make the sheeple think government is their only answer. His puppet masters tell the puppet what to do to make his plan work, but he will fail.

So true!

Mark Levin has been playing clips of Reagan’s speeches then clips of the messiah’s.

What a difference in tone.

What a difference in attitude.

What a difference in the men.

A friend of mine told me he heard someone call into C-Span and declare that “Obama is the best president this country has ever had!”...and he has only been president 10 days?

In that picture it looks like he’s drugged out.

Remember Obama's " scared to death" expression right after his first Intelligence Briefing? Very disconcerting...
