Kudos to you Michael. Now stand tall and proud. Be strong and push conservative principles. Do not falter and do not shrink from the fight against Obama and the Democrats.

Not a disappointment at all. People better grow up and grow up soon or the GOP is going to be the minority, no say in anything, party forever.

Exactly right. I'm Catholic, but I don't base my vote on anyone's religion. It should be a reliable barometer, but it's not. It means we have a whole bunch of people attending the wrong churches or they're in the wrong political party.

They won't give him a chance, won't wait to see if he pursues a Conservative agenda, they'd rather bash him now.
God, no wonder we lost; RINO's to the Left of us and Neanderthals to the Right...although...real Conservatives maintain an open mind and wait for a man's actions before passing judgement on him.M
With some people you just can't win...if Ronald Reagan was to be reincarnated and run, these guys would find fault with him too.

Yes, we had a self admitted economic dunce running against a man who was intent on over turning our economic system. That is probably the main reason that the media picked McCain as the Republican candidate.
I can’t believe that I was actually fooled by McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin as his VP. I was vehement in my opposition to McCain before he picked Palin. I would have still voted for him, because I would have voted against Obama, but I still feel duped.

“Wasnt Michael Steele referred to as an Oreo?”
I remember hearing that racist democrats tossed Oreo cookies at him during his last campaign...
It was probably NBC/general electric employees.

My first post on this thread I pointed out a couple of concerns, said he was better than some of the other choices, and that he bears watching.
That isn't finding fault. That's proper caution in not wanting to repeat another McCain debacle.

We have to get back the East and West and NE as well... I think Steele may be the right man to accomplish that desired outcome. Most of those states need to understand why liberalism is bad and it will take a whole lot to get them to even look at an R, much less vote for a hard C R, we have to get back there, but it isn’t going to happen overnight... and remember — he is head of RNC, not POTUS... but HE can speak out against the black POTUS. Would I have been happy with Blackwell — yep! But he is more shy and retiring, Steele is more outgoing and personable... Give him a chance.

Everyone knock off ALL the personal attacks against each other NOW!
You can debate all day long the merits of Steele’s election and/or positions, but don’t make it personal against each other.
