The club’s membership is whites only, but guests can be of any race. How charming. I have a real hard time believing that someone who has been part of a club for twelve years wouldn’t know anything about its membership requirements or history. As I said earlier, it sounds a lot like the Obama excuse when the Wright problem was revealed.

Thank you. I appreciate the mention. Then it does look like more of a trumped up problem than I first thought. That’s good.

"I meant more in comparison to what they were earlier, and the change. I was also referring more to the markets and the financial performances. If you compare for example from Nov 07 to Nov 08 with Nov 79 to Nov 80 and look at the markets, unemployment, GDP, consumer confidence, and other indicators, the last year and leading up to the election,a nd especially from labor day to the elction was worse in 08 than it was in 80."In that very thin snapshot to the run-up, maybe.
But Darth's greater point prevails. There's a world of hurt between toxic debt BUT a 3.25% Prime VERSUS an insane boa constrictor 23.5% Prime.

"I think its obvious the best way for Republicans to take back power in the 21st century is to elect a guy who has been a member of a whites-only country club."
LMAO! The Republicans are determined to drive themselves as far into the political wilderness as possible. I hope they find a nice comfy spot with a good view, because they are going to be there for a generation.

Might want to read my 222. Just my opinion, but I have a hard time believing anyone could be that unaware.

What concerns me about Katon Dawson is the country club issue. It's probably nothing, but given the low level of analytical activity against MSM smears as evidenced by this last election cycle, we can't take that chance. Well, at least he isn't a member of the Congressional White Caucus, White La Raza or a church in Chicago that preaches black hate.

"They will...just look at how much they the Conservatives for picking Clarence Thomas. They are still patting us on the back for that pick."
Clarence Thomas was picked because he's Clarence Thomas. Not so anyone would pat the party on the back. He's the most conservative member of the court, I don't see how any conservative could have any complaints.

just look at how much they the Conservatives for picking Clarence Thomas. They are still patting us on the back for that pick. That was because he replaced Thurgood Marshall. It's wasn't just that it was supposed to be the BLACK seat on the Court, but that it was also a LIBERAL seat on the court. Liberal trumps Black every time.

Alan Keyes isn’t a Republican any more, so you’re safe.
He’s a member of America’s Independent Party.
