Hang in there, guys. Even if moderates like Snowe, Specter, & Collins defect, I’ll still consider it a victory so long as the rest of the caucus holds.

Obama wants bi-partisanship but the Republicans in the House took a pass. Why should they vote for this nonsense? It's like Obama said, everyone should have some skin in the game, so why should Republicans vote for something from which they were totally excluded?. Pelosi has basically said "Screw them, there is no way I am going to let any Republicans in this game." (My words - not hers.)

I doubt that Obama really cares, but he wanted to kick the bi-partisan football, and Lucy Pelosi took it away and he landed on his butt. She made him look foolish.
