I doubt there will be a unified opposition against this monstrosity.

All it takes is one GOP defection, and one of the Maine Senators has indicated she will vote for a stimulus.

I doubt we can get the same number of Dems (to offset GOP defections) to filibuster. No Dem has the cojones to stop Obama’s first major objective.

Of those who are politically aware, I definitely agree with you.

But when you count in the voters who know nothing, there you have it. There is a reason why these liberal morons keep getting re-elected and why they are the majority party in this country.

I think the recent set backs in 06 and 08 are more directly attributable to GOP arrogance and stupidity than anything else, including this worn out mantra every voter is ‘stupid’.

My guess is that the average IQ of a GOP voter is higher than a Dem voter.

Republicans who try to be liked by the media and other Democrats turn off otherwise Republican voters. That is a fact.

We made it possible by allowing McLame to be the nominee. Lets not pretend we didn’t have some responsiblity here, collectively.

I suspect you’re right. The Senate has become this cozy little private club where every member scratches every other member’s back and they all work to keep the club exclusive with lifelong membership (and apparently inheritable if the Kennedys and Bidens have anything to do with it). Republicans who want to stay in with the crowd will find some way to characterize their vote as “good for the country” although it will actually only be “good for the country club”.

We more over the top reporting to fire back at them.

January 30, 2009 Obama’s thugs unleash a-bombs, longhairs swinging lead pipes and pepper spray on helpless Republican senators. Millions of civilians attending weddings were killed by errant Obombs.

Families of those killed DEMAND! that Obama’s war that is causing massive bloodletting in the streets be stopped immediately. Women and children are suffering and the Obombs are destroying our families and jobs.

They’re even killing the baby deer. Nothing is being spared.

We voted for change, and now my family is DEAD. That’s not the change I voted for.
