"he's going down swinging, with a call to fire Rahm Emanuel for being as guilty as he -- according to a theory under which he is being impeached for fighting for citizens right to cheap prescription drugs.
Lawmakers should demand that President Obama fire Rahm Emanuel because favored the program. "

He will (if he lives), but as part of a deal with Fitzmass. No deal with Fitzgerald. This case was sprung before all the evidence was in just to make sure that no one higher up was caught. Blagojevich is as high up the chain as Fitzgerald dared to go.

Yep. Not to mention the N & S attacks (refined to the max by the Clintons) don’t work as well on someone who everybody already knows is certifiable.

I think a lot of politicians just wanted Blago to fall on his sword for them and he’s about to turn that sword on them. He’s probably guilty of the charges, but likely no more than dozens more who are being protected by the MSM.

"Blago will not go down alone." Ah, the ol' Ron Brown approach. He probably ought cancel any travel plans, or plans to walk through Ft. Marcy Park at midnight.

Fire Rahm? I must say I agree (but Obambi would be completely lost without his mouthpiece)

Probably. And I'm wondering if Fitzgerald is waiting for Blago to be out of office, so he doesn't have some kind of Executive Privilege to hide behind.

"Dennis miller thinks all politicians are like this guy. only Blago uses dirtier language in his phone conversations." Trust me, all politicians in Illinois ARE like this guy, At least, most of them. It would not shock me in the slightest to find this leading to Obama.

I’m also wondering if Blago managed to tape all of his conversations with politicians over the past years? That would be really great if he had better tapes than Fitzgerald!
To: swain_forkbeard
He is very dangerous. He is on tape letting everyone know how politicians do business. And now he is talking about it.
Pray for him. He could be God's instrument for bringing down a whole satanic house of cards. If so, he's going to need forgiveness and superhuman strength of will.

Don't be too sure.
The SOP is to nail someone lower down, turn them and get their cooperation so as to go up the tree. Remember the case against the "plumbers" was sprung long before Nixon's buddies went down.
